Remote Teaching and Learning with Zoom and Other Tools
The Brightspace support team at the Center for Teaching has put together a short video showing a few of the tools faculty and other instructors might find useful as they move to remote teaching and alternative instruction.
Please note that as of this writing (late night on Tuesday, March 10), Zoom is not yet available to the campus, but we expect to be available through Brightspace very soon.
Faculty with questions about technologies and techniques for alternative instruction are encouraged to check out the Center for Teaching’s on-demand Brightspace resources, which include text and video tool guides, or reach out for support by phone or email. Additionally, on March 11, 12, and 13, the Provost’s Office of Faculty Affairs is hosting several workshops led by staff from the Center for Teaching and VUIT called “Tools for Putting Your Courses Online.” The March 11 sessions will be recorded and posted to the Brightspace support site for later viewing, and the March 12 sessions will be streamed live for those who cannot attend.
