Consultations for University Courses and TIPs Proposals
The Office of the Provost has issued a call for proposals for Trans-Institutional Programs and University Courses for 2017-2018. TIPs pre-proposals are due November 28th, and University Course proposals are due December 12th. If you’re a faculty member thinking about a submission to either program, feel free to reach out to the Center for Teaching for a consultation. CFT senior staff members have worked with several faculty members on University Courses, both at the proposal stage and at the course design stage. And we’re happy to help faculty think through choices for educational aspects of TIPs proposals.
For more on the Provost’s call for proposals, see the recent MyVU news article. For more on the CFT’s consultation services, see our teaching consultations page. See also our annual Course Design Institute, a great way to spend a few days working through the design of a University Course–or any other course.
