THATCamp Vanderbilt University will take place November 2-3
The Center for Second Language Studies, Center for Teaching, Curb Center for Art, Enterprise & Public Policy, and Warren Center’s Digital Humanities Seminar will co-host THATCamp Vanderbilt University.
THATCamp stands for “The Humanities and Technology Camp.” It is an unconference: an open, inexpensive meeting where humanists and technologists of all skill levels learn and build together in sessions proposed on the spot.
Speakers include:
- William Pannapacker, Associate Professor of English Hope College “Digital Humanities: From the Edge to the Center”
- Amy Earhart, Assistant Professor of English, Texas A&M University “Recovering the Recovered Text.”
THATCamp Vanderbilt University will hold workshop sessions on Friday, November 2, that will feature hands-on instruction on various digital humanities tools and topics. The unconference sessions will be held on Saturday, November 3. Faculty, students, staff, librarians, archivists, journalists, technologists, and other interested parties of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.Read more about this and other THATCamps at thatcamp.org.
