For many years, educators in business, law and medical schools have used case studies to engage students in discussion and develop their problem-solving and analytical skills. Today case studies are entering a variety of disciplines to help students synthesize and apply course content, while breathing life into discussion by simulating and debating complex real-world dilemmas. This workshop will highlight some of the methods and benefits of case teaching across the disciplines and provide opportunities for both aspiring and well-practiced case teachers to discuss their craft.
